It's a very limpid granate red wine, with orange tendencies, quite consistent for the eye, but I have seen more consistent Barbarescos though.
In the nose it gives an intense impression of fruits lika strawberry and raspberry. It's a complex wine, with a sufficient range of odorous nuances.
Having a zip of this wine gives you quite intense impressions of red flowers, red fruits like strawberry, raspberry and red currant. It's a dry wine, quite warm, soft with pleasant velvety sensations. This wine gives you a good freshness, and it's quite tannic, perceivable and only pleasant. Quite tasty at the end. Quite persistent, the flavour lasts for 6-7 seconds.
This Barbaresco is harmonius and in good balance. The wine is ready, almost mature.
I would combine this wine with white and red meat, not to much spicy. A young fresh pecorino cheese perhaps.
