Here we are with a brand new Vinix feature, minipost. Miniposts are something very similar to facebook status. We've decided to introduce this kind of quick and easy publishing post to put a little more distance between the normal social activity and the blog area where we try to put the best, more selected and meditated content, every day. Miniposts goes only on Timeline (your logged homepage), they are something lighter than a real post and it is very easy and quick to publish one, just write and push "post" from your status box from the timeline. Da social network a social commerce del vino (e non solo). Le cose possono essere solo promesse oppure possono essere anche mantenute. Quando al lancio di Vinix Grassroots Market ci siamo presentati sotto la nuova veste di primo vero social commerce - almeno in potenza - avevamo già in mente un assetto molto simile a quello odierno solo che per fare le cose, bene, ci vuole tempo, specie se le autofinanzi. Perseveranza e tenacia aiutano ed è così che oggi siamo lieti di presentarvi la nuova veste di Vinix con l'integrazione completa dei "like" (e dei don't like) su tutto il sito, le nuovissime notifiche in tempo reale (notifiche push), la timeline più ricca e dinamica e il nuovo menù di navigazione bloccato e compatto. Abbiamo appena rilasciato un nuovo aggiornamento di piattaforma che migliora notevolmente la Timeline di Vinix, la pagina principale visibile a tutti gli utenti iscritti e loggati al network da dove è possibile tenere sempre sott'occhio tutto quello che fanno i tuoi amici. Da oggi hai infatti la possibilità di commentare tutte le tipologie di contenuti pubblicabili sul network (annunci, foto, video, recensioni vini, birre, ristoranti e post) direttamente da questa pagina, senza dover aprire necessariamente il contenuto in dettaglio e senza dover ricaricare la pagina. Come i più attivi navigatori avranno notato, proprio mentre su Facebook è esplosa la pubblicità display senza alcun ritegno, inondando il social network più noto del mondo con una quantità a mio avviso eccessiva di pubblicità in ogni angolo possibile, qui si è andati nella direzione opposta, da qualche giorno infatti non ci sono più banner sul sito. Non che la pubblicità che ospitavamo fosse invasiva, tutt'altro, ma è stata una scelta a lungo meditata e che, considerate le importanti integrazioni che il network subirà da qui a breve, risultava necessaria, giusta e coerente con le regole etiche del network di raccolta VinoClic. Mi riferisco ancora una volta a Vinix Grassroots Market - questione di settimane...

Non c'è giorno in cui non dedichiamo energie allo sviluppo di Vinix. Lo sviluppo però può essere di molti tipi, anche di un tipo che non si vede, lato sicurezza e procedure di recovery per esempio, cose che generalmente agli utenti interessano molto poco, l'importante però è che quando smanettano col sito, tutto funzioni sempre a dovere e non ci siano interruzioni :) Ci sono almeno un milione di cose che possono andare storte ogni giorno per un'attività che vive esclusivamente online, minacce informatiche, rotture hardware, errori software, sovraccarichi, attacchi, ecc. e quello che un buon amministratore deve fare è prendere tutti gli accorgimenti possibili per limitare al massimo i pur sempre possibili danni. Oggi pomeriggio abbiamo avuto la prima riunione per discutere la parte grafica dell'integrazione di Vinix che ci consentirà nei prossimi mesi di donare al mondo del vino (appassionati, operatori e produttori) un nuovo modo di comprare e vendere tramite internet. Non un collaudato e rassicurante e-commerce quindi ma qualcosa di diverso e più sociale che vedrà la luce proprio qui, sulle pagine di Vinix, nella sua prima fase beta disponibile solo per il mercato e l'utenza italiana. In realtà sono già diversi mesi/anni che giro attorno a questo progetto. La possibilità di approvvigionarmi dei vini che più amo con piccole scorte, farmi una cantina di cose buone senza necessariamente dover passare sempre e soltanto dagli intermediari...

New language tools on Vinix

In the last weeks we've spent all our efforts to introduce new important language tools and this is because one of the most relevant objective fot us, is to create tools wich can make interaction between people of different countries (and languages) on Vinix much easier: a) if you have a "pro" plan on Vinix (120,00 euros / month), now you can add your contents in double language (english / italian). You simply have to post in the same way as before but now if you are not italian, you can add a second language (italian or english, accordingly with the primary language you've set on your Vinix Preferences: http://www.vinix.it/preferenze.php?lang=eng ). The system is now able to show the right content,showing up the italian version to italian people and the english version to all the rest...
