QR Codes

QR Codes are a two-dimensional image that can contain data or even links. In Italy they are not yet widespread but in the East they are everywhere, for example on restaurant menus, wine lists, catalogs or even on buildings, magazines or advertising, mainly because they can be photographed easily and quickly with a mobile phone and then sent using a special free downloadable app, thus conveying detailed information about a person, company or product, much like a link to a website or a feed to your blog. We think it's a simple and powerful way of bringing into our offline environment a bit of the information about us that is normally only online.

So we decided to make available for free to all inhabitants of the Vinix world a custom QR code which by default leads to your personal Vinix page with all the information about you that you posted there. To holders of a Pro Plan we offer the possibility to modify the content of QR Code, allowing them to associate it to a different link (for example, to their corporate website) or to a short text (for example, a brief presentation). You can also download your QR code in high resolution and print it on any support you feel appropriate (a shirt, the back label of a wine, the front door of a restaurant, your letterhead, your van, your restaurant?s menu, advertising, etc.).. In other words, create a mashup between the Internet and the offline world, enriching the experience of those who'll be looking for information about you.
